The stakes of ICD in FITNESS

The FITNESS project is interdisciplinary, since it involves researchers
in the fields of microwaves, materials, electronics, chemistry, electromagnetic waves, etc.
Inspired from procedures in place in the Space sector, the interactions between
research teams will be defined by the ICD, i.e. the Interface Control Document, which
defines the information and components that will be exchanged
during the project. The ICD is a living document, which was initiated at
Kick-off Meeting ; its first consolidated version is expected by the end of September but it will be updated at least every 6 months.
It will guide the Consortium toward prototypes of new Metasurfaces which
will be sparse, conformal, flexible and which will also integrate the electronics,
to be applied in the field of robotics (see PERT diagram below).
