Prof. Ivan Petrović from FITNESS partner University of Zagreb – Faculty of Electrical Engineering and computing (UNIZG-FER) presented a poster on « Object Position Estimation Using Electromagnetic Phenomena of Flexible Metasurfaces » at the European Robotics Forum (ERF2025), which took place in Stuttgart from March 25 to 27, 2025.

As the ERF is the largest and most important annual event of the European robotics community, it was an excellent opportunity to bring the FITNESS project and its results to the attention of European roboticists, even at this early stage of development of its flexible intelligent sensing skin, which is expected to find a large market in robotics.

During the poster session, Ivan presented the project and the results shown on the poster to more than twenty ERF attendees.
